About Us

Here at the National Native Bee Monitoring Network, we believe the best way to conserve native bees is collaboration.

Our mission is to unite bee researchers from all over the country and beyond, so that we can come together to form a robust national strategy for bee monitoring. Are you a bee researcher studying native bees?

Our goal

To unite academics, government agencies, nonprofit organizations, and the public to research, monitor, and ultimately conserve wild bees.

We want to streamline and standardize existing monitoring efforts to promote better use of the native bee data we collect. Our role is to serve as a central location of information and connection, by providing protocols, suppliers, taxonomists, training opportunities, funding opportunities, and more.

We work to empower and connect native bee monitoring initiatives across the country
