Workshop 4 recap: Cooperative Extension and community science
This workshop was co-organized by Andony Melathopoulos of Oregon State University, Rufus Isaacs of Michigan State University, Elaine Evans of the University of Minnesota, Margarita López-Uribe of Penn State University, and Sarina Jepsen of The Xerces Society for Invertebrate Conservation and focused on the roles of Cooperative Extension and community science in national scale native bee monitoring. Speakers shared projects, initiatives, and infrastructure within Cooperative Extension and community science supporting native bees and described their needs for future monitoring efforts.
